Maria Kostytska is a partner and head of international arbitration of the Paris office of Winston & Strawn LLP. With a strong focus in the energy sector, Maria leads the international arbitration and post-arbitral litigation practice concentrating in Eastern and Western Europe, the Baltics, Central Asia and Latin America. She practices law in English, French, Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish, and is admitted to the bars of Washington DC, New York, England and Wales (as a barrister) and Paris.  Maria has handled high-profile energy disputes in the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. She serves as an arbitrator and acts as lead counsel representing clients in investor-state and commercial arbitrations under the UNCITRAL,ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICSID and other rules.  A former ICC Court Member appointed by the Ukrainian national committee, she is an active arbitrator at the International Commercial Arbitration Court (ICAC) in Kyiv.
