Filip Balcerzak

Filip Balcerzak, LL.M. (2011, Canada), Ph.D. (2016, Poland), Ph.D. (2024, Spain), attorney at law (Poland, Spain). Filip is a partner at SSW law firm (Poland) and an academic (Brunel University London, England and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland).

Filip has served as an arbitrator in over forty arbitrations, as a presiding arbitrator, side arbitrator, sole arbitrator and emergency arbitrator.

The European Commission nominated him as a candidate arbitrator and expert on trade and sustainability in disputes regarding trade agreements between the EU and third countries.

Filip authored two monographies on international investment law:
