Adam Eberhardt

Dr. Adam Eberhardt is the Deputy Director of the Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw (SEW UW). He is also an expert for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) on the Human Dimension Mechanism for the period 2023-2029. In 2022, he served as an advisor to the President of Ukraine within the Working Group on International Security Guarantees for Ukraine. From 2020 to 2024, he was the Polish Prime Minister’s Plenipotentiary for supporting reforms in the Republic of Moldova. Earlier, from 2016 to 2022, Dr. Eberhardt was the Director of the Center for Eastern Studies (OSW) in Warsaw, after serving as its Deputy Director for eight years (2008-2016). He also held the position of Head of Research and Senior Fellow at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, Dr. Eberhardt serves as an advisor and consultant on matters related to Eastern Europe, including the process of reconstruction of Ukraine.
